Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tiberiu Caramarin kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, MIT Craiova's Romeo Gherghescu got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 5 minutes MIT Craiova's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bogdan Tănăsocă who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Fălciu's Bogdan Tănăsocă to fire away a dangerous shot which Calistrat Madgearu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Filip Ivănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 7th minute of play. Filip Ivănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Orășan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fălciu's goalkeeper Filip Ivănescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to MIT Craiova getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alex Balotă hit a great ball. Filip Ivănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Dorin Banu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Ivănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Fălciu got a corner. MIT Craiova's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bogdan Tănăsocă ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Bogdan Tănăsocă almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MIT Craiova's Calistrat Madgearu did a great save. Fălciu's Filip Ivănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MIT Craiova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 33 minutes, Bogdan Tănăsocă managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fălciu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Tănăsocă was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filip Ivănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Orășan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute MIT Craiova were awarded a corner. Mihăiţă Ilarie went to the cornerflag to take it. Tiberiu Caramarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Ivănescu having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filip Ivănescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 47th match minute, MIT Craiova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihăiţă Ilarie to maneuver through the defense.

Dorin Banu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Filip Ivănescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. 54 minutes into the match, Fălciu's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Filip Ivănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute MIT Craiova were awarded a corner. Mihăiţă Ilarie went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, MIT Craiova's Dinu Grigoroiu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Bogdan Tănăsocă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calistrat Madgearu having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Fălciu's zone, Tiberiu Caramarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filip Ivănescu came out of the goal and Tiberiu Caramarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filip Ivănescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiberiu Caramarin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 71 minute of play. Filip Ivănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 81st minute of play. Filip Ivănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Tănăsocă in the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of Fălciu booed when MIT Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Caramarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. MIT Craiova's Fabian Geantă was substituted for Mihăiţă Ilarie. MIT Craiova's Bogdan Bucataru was substituted for Florin Seremet. A collision led to MIT Craiova getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Tiberiu Caramarin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Fălciu's Dacian Mâinea got a free kick in the 95th minute. The MIT Craiova players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
