In the 14th minute, Amerigo Gervasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC aDeX's Cazimir Barbu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ramon Nikola, made in the 16th minute of the game. With a little luck, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Emilian Ferenț got control of the ball when Tiago Leite tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute James Madison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilian Ferenț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as James Madison kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emilian Ferenț. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Emilian Ferenț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Madison in the 27th minute of play. The corner led FC aDeX's Valentin Bilașco to fire away a dangerous shot which Emilian Ferenț despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcos Libertad was slow to take the kick. During this time FC aDeX's players had a chance to rest. Emilian Ferenț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Madison, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 38 minutes into the match, FC aDeX's James Madison sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emilian Ferenț narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th match minute, F.C.DrobetA-Știința- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dacian Popoiu to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiago Leite kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emilian Ferenț. That made the score 2-0 in the 42 minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Dorin Tărâţă threw the ball into play from the sideline. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Vic Alexander quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiago Leite to make the kick off. The supporters of FC aDeX booed when F.C.DrobetA-Știința- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Barros Schelloto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Ramon Nikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th match minute, F.C.DrobetA-Știința- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Nikola to maneuver through the defense. Emilian Ferenț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Leite, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to F.C.DrobetA-Știința- getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Ramon Nikola hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Erubiel Artizar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erubiel Artizar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of F.C.DrobetA-Știința- protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erubiel Artizar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in F.C.DrobetA-Știința- fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Emilian Ferenț showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Leite in the 73rd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Tiago Leite notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Emilian Ferenț. Emilian Ferenț was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Leite in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilian Ferenț saved F.C.DrobetA-Știința- from getting behind. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Emilian Ferenț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Leite in the 80th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in F.C.DrobetA-Știința- fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Emilian Ferenț had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Marcos Libertad's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Tiago Leite took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilian Ferenț. Emilian Ferenț dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. James Madison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Emilian Ferenț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Leite's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilian Ferenț read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tiago Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilian Ferenț was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Tiago Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilian Ferenț having to interfere. FC aDeX's Tiago Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC aDeX walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
