Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vasile Blănaru started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Gheorghe Buta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Tudor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vic Cos during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vic Cos kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Emilian Ferenț didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timmie Deinse went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Vasile Blănaru's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emilian Ferenț firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Gheorghe Buta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Tudor was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Matias Barros Schelloto got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vic Alexander hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goalkeeper Emilian Ferenț, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Randle Morse fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s protests and gave Randle Morse a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Czempa in the 45th minute of play forced F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goalkeeper Emilian Ferenț to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Timmie Deinse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matias Barros Schelloto to make the kick off. Martin Tudor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gheorghe Buta in the 53rd minute. Gheorghe Buta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Martin Tudor made a huge save. Karol Czempa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Emilian Ferenț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goalkeeper Emilian Ferenț, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chorache Tofiño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
