The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Novos Troncos's Santo Incera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Laurențiu Pora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santo Incera having to make a save. Santo Incera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurențiu Pora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Novos Troncos's attentive Pascual Cesaro managed to snatch the ball when Carlos Puyol made a throw-in in the 19th minute of the game. Santo Incera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Pora, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute Hayalim Kedoshim were awarded a corner. Garfield Sau went to the cornerflag to take it. If Laurențiu Pora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cazimir Angelescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurențiu Pora was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Hayalim Kedoshim getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Tadeu Carneiro hit a great ball. Hayalim Kedoshim's Valter Setúbal was substituted for Mustafa Yaşar Recai. Hayalim Kedoshim made a substitution. Luis Tamaron replaced Garfield Sau. After 56 played minutes Hayalim Kedoshim got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Carneiro. After having played for 63 minutes, Leopold Davus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novos Troncos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopold Davus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Novos Troncos's Santo Incera got control of the ball when Vladimiro Lauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erez Loco during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Hayalim Kedoshim supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hayalim Kedoshim would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
