The supporters of Amboy FC booed when Kolopetinitsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thymios Antoniadis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Güralp Uğurtan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Panos Tsabis in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Mourelatos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theagenis Theodorakoglou in the 14th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Güralp Uğurtan to make any attempt to save it. After 21 played minutes Kolopetinitsa got a freekick which was hit by Theagenis Theodorakoglou. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Güralp Uğurtan having to make a save. Kolopetinitsa's Güralp Uğurtan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Kolopetinitsa from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Theagenis Theodorakoglou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ariel Mourelatos was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When Thymios Antoniadis fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kolopetinitsa's protests and gave Thymios Antoniadis a yellow card for diving instead. A hard shot 47 in the game by Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán from a close distance when the talented Güralp Uğurtan managed to make a qualified save. Kolopetinitsa's players were relieved. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Panos Tsabis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ariel Mourelatos firmly grabbed it by the left post. 66 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Panagiotis Kaliasis came free, but Ariel Mourelatos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Mourelatos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panagiotis Kaliasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Panos Tsabis took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Ariel Mourelatos to make any attempt to save it. A wasted opportunity for Amboy FC. 83 minutes into the match, Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panos Tsabis. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when Kolopetinitsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikos Pantaleon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Amboy FC's Marcelo Kauldi seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marcelo Kauldi the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Amboy FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marcelo Kauldi had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 92nd minute there was a penalty for Kolopetinitsa. Panagiotis Kaliasis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ariel Mourelatos. 3-2. Many of Kolopetinitsa's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Kolopetinitsa may have spent more time on the ball, but Amboy FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
