The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Delassus in the 9th minute of play forced SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Aaron Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Emanuel Vigil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Glanselius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Vigil in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Glanselius saved SSC Ambrosini from getting behind. In the 17th minute of the match PEÇONHENTO FC MG got a corner. SSC Ambrosini's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabriel Delassus ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 18 minutes, Leonel Pinheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PEÇONHENTO FC MG and the SSC Ambrosini players grew even worse after the yellow card. SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Delassus in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Möllgren came free, but Barra Gol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kristian Wiberg kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Aaron Glanselius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lacy Ericsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Barra Gol made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafu de Andrade in the 44th minute of play forced SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Aaron Glanselius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrik Möllgren to strike the kick off in the second half. SSC Ambrosini's Aaron Glanselius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save SSC Ambrosini from getting a goal against them. PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Barra Gol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henrik Möllgren in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, PEÇONHENTO FC MG's Hélio Andrade got a free kick in the 60th minute. Jan Malm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Henrik Möllgren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Barra Gol having to make a save. In the 89th minute Christer Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barra Gol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Glanselius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tarcisio Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Gabriel Delassus recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aaron Glanselius. Gabriel Delassus showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PEÇONHENTO FC MG eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
