Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svali Bollason, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Reko-Recko 03™'s Angelino Nueva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Reko-Recko 03™ from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Mino made a kick off. The throw-in from Isaias Grove in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Reko-Recko 03™'s Carlos Augusto Sá. The supporters of Reko-Recko 03™ booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Arne Olsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hao Feng Yu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Joey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Svali Bollason in the 54th minute. Alfredo Joey made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Svali Bollason sent off a good shot on target. Angelino Nueva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Medina in the 58th minute of the match. Angelino Nueva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Mino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reko-Recko 03™ made a substitution. Xande Cabezudo replaced Svali Bollason. After 65 minutes Reko-Recko 03™'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Saul Felo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Palermo's corner Marcelino Chaime fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Angelino Nueva quite easily take care of the ball. Xande Cabezudo hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Palermo were awarded a corner. Saul Felo went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 80th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xande Cabezudo. In the 83rd match minute, Reko-Recko 03™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selman Ruzi to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xande Cabezudo in the 89th minute of the match. Angelino Nueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Chaime, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Reko-Recko 03™'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
