The supporters of Pesqueira City booed when Palermo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Grove didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Palermo's Alfredo Joey got control of the ball when Benjamin da Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Palermo's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alfredo Joey. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. Alfredo Joey made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Benjamin da Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 16th minute of play. Benjamin da Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Alfredo Joey made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin da Fonseca in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Joey saved Palermo from getting behind. Izydor Ogrodowicz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, one of Pesqueira City:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pesqueira City. Alfredo Joey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Orland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin da Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Alfredo Joey made a huge save. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Mino in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Benjamin da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pesqueira City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 44 minutes into the match, Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin da Fonseca. After a rather tough play, Pesqueira City's Cristiano Bezerra got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Santiago Mino made the kick off in the second half. Marcelino Chaime in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jeremias Orland, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alfredo Joey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 62 minutes into the game, Maximino Gonzalez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palermo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pesqueira City the free kick. In the 62nd minute, Maximino Gonzalez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Gonzalez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jeremias Orland made a huge save. Jeremias Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Anacleto Itzaina hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Pesqueira City's Sebastião Quintal was substituted for Luiz Pesquera. Pesqueira City made a substitution. Alfredo Joey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pesqueira City. Cristiano Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremias Orland made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Marcelino Chaime sent off a good shot on target. Palermo's Alfredo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Hansson in the 94th minute of play.
