After a defensive mix-up in Academia Santista CIMZ's zone, Edoardo Meo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gu Zhan Wei came out of the goal and Edoardo Meo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Bonelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Portalupi in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to Sorci Viola getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Edoardo Meo hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Portalupi came free, but Armando Bonelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gu Zhan Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edoardo Meo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Felipe Portalupi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Academia Santista CIMZ's Ruy Motta got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Loreto in the 21st minute of play. Sorci Viola's Cesare Loreto managed to work through Academia Santista CIMZ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Cesare Loreto dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edoardo Meo got free with Gu Zhan Wei in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Frans during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Academia Santista CIMZ's Aaron Frans got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Sorci Viola booed when Academia Santista CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Jeremias Aurken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gu Zhan Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvise Urbani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Academia Santista CIMZ's Jeremias Aurken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Bonelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute of the match Academia Santista CIMZ got a corner. Sorci Viola's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruy Motta ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Academia Santista CIMZ's Ruy Motta to fire away a dangerous shot which Armando Bonelli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Gu Zhan Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edoardo Meo in the 64th minute of play. After 71 minutes Academia Santista CIMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlo De Luca who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Sorci Viola's corner Carlo De Luca fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gu Zhan Wei quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Loreto in the 76th minute of play forced Academia Santista CIMZ's goalkeeper Gu Zhan Wei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gu Zhan Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Loreto in the 78th minute of the match.
