The audience was convinced that Julian Roberts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Nueva was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. In the 9th minute Svali Bollason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Iasonidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Svali Bollason lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Avraam Iasonidis. Club Ahja's Avraam Iasonidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Svali Bollason in the 26th minute of play. Avraam Iasonidis was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Svali Bollason capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dedé Gaspar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Club Ahja's goal looked a bit too open when Svali Bollason came free, but Avraam Iasonidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Roberts in the 37th minute of play forced Reko-Recko 03™'s goalkeeper Angelino Nueva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Reko-Recko 03™ getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Svali Bollason hit a great ball. Julian Roberts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Nueva having to interfere. Avraam Iasonidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Arce in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Roberts stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Gerardo Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avraam Iasonidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Avraam Iasonidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Arce in the 56th minute of play.
