After a rather tough play, Sorci Viola's Carlo De Luca got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 10 minutes into the match, Dolf Schoonderwoerd dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armando Bonelli, 2-0. A hard shot 13 in the game by Dolf Schoonderwoerd from a close distance when the talented Armando Bonelli managed to make a qualified save. Sorci Viola's players were relieved. 14 minutes into the match, Piearres Olalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Armando Bonelli, 3-0. In the 17th minute, Fernan Arixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvise Urbani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Underdogs's Jan Wessel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edoardo Meo in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Fernan Arixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alvise Urbani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jan Wessel having to make a save. A hard shot 35 in the game by Dolf Schoonderwoerd from a close distance when the talented Armando Bonelli managed to make a qualified save. Sorci Viola's players were relieved. In the 36th minute Alvise Urbani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Wessel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riemer Fries kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Dolf Schoonderwoerd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Armando Bonelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Dolf Schoonderwoerd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Bonelli. Sorci Viola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dolf Schoonderwoerd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When Alvise Urbani came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Sorci Viola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvise Urbani couldn't finish the play. 62 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Dolf Schoonderwoerd came free, but Armando Bonelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dolf Schoonderwoerd might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Bonelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dolf Schoonderwoerd ran back to his position shaking his head. Sorci Viola's Franco Piccirilli was substituted for Cosimo Toninelli. Carlo De Luca made in the 67th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Antonio Martano however managed to control. Frank de Boer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Bonelli having to interfere. Armando Bonelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dolf Schoonderwoerd's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Armando Bonelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolf Schoonderwoerd, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. The supporters of Sorci Viola booed when The Underdogs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ate Kloppenburg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan Wessel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carlo De Luca. The Underdogs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Iustin Hațegan in the 89th minute. It was a well-played corner which Dolf Schoonderwoerd managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Loreto in the 95th minute of play forced The Underdogs's goalkeeper Jan Wessel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Piearres Olalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Bonelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, The Underdogs could leave the field as winners, despite Sorci Viola having more of the ball for most of the match.
