Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elazar Quiero, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. A collision led to ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Elazar Quiero hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Martin Petkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricart Melinao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nicasio Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Peter Blomkvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Muro, 1-0. Belo Berges charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belo Berges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricart Melinao in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicasio Abad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Petkov in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
