Romeu De Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Tipi in the 5th minute of the match. The Les Tigres fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Les Tigres's Leonardo Tipi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leonardo Tipi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu De Sousa having to interfere. Romeu De Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Tipi in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonardo Tipi in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu De Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Milfontes United's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Tipi came free, but Romeu De Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Milfontes United's goalkeeper Romeu De Sousa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 22nd minute Raul Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Lain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu De Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Milfontes United's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Tipi came free, but Romeu De Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Leonardo Tipi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu De Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milfontes United's Romeu De Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Tipi in the 40th minute of play. Felix Baicu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Paulino Lain made a huge save. If Raul Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les Tigres's Rodolfo Luken was substituted for Silvano Ihazintu. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

With a little luck, Milfontes United's Romeu De Sousa got control of the ball when Leonardo Tipi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Tipi got free with Romeu De Sousa in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romeu De Sousa made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Leonardo Tipi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Milfontes United's Luís Travassos got a free kick in the 65th minute. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Leonardo Tipi took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Romeu De Sousa to make any attempt to save it. After 68 played minutes Milfontes United got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Palhares. Leonardo Tipi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Romeu De Sousa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Romeu De Sousa made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Leonardo Tipi sent off a good shot on target. 78 minutes into the game, Edvard Võsandi lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Romeu De Sousa. In the 81st match minute, Milfontes United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Viana to maneuver through the defense. Felix Baicu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 84 minutes into the match, Milfontes United's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Tipi came free, but Romeu De Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th match minute, Milfontes United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gheorghe Chifu to maneuver through the defense. Romeu De Sousa came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Les Tigres's Severino Estevez. But to his dismay, Severino Estevez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Leonardo Tipi struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Romeu De Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Les Tigres. The crowd rose to their feet as Les Tigres's Leonardo Tipi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Romeu De Sousa. That made the score 0-6 after 93 minutes of play. When the match was over Les Tigres could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Milfontes United throughout the match.
