Vikingos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Cantona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Cantona in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute Vikingos FC were awarded a corner. Marek Torm went to the cornerflag to take it. Vikingos FC's Marek Torm was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ovidio Roland in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 9 minutes into the match, Marco Cantona notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland. Ovidio Roland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Katia Marto in the 20th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vikingos FC's Marek Torm. After 23 played minutes Vikingos FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Cantona. Intimos de Reynoso's Ovidio Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Cantona in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Meder Muños shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Meder Muños to strike the kick off in the second half. If Cássio Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Meder Muños scored 1-1 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sebastián Sosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sebastián Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Steven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastián Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janpier Alvisto in the 75th minute of the match. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lope Quijana in the 78th minute of play. Sebastián Sosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Steven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vikingos FC's Luciano Lleir was substituted for Cássio Lopes. In the 90th minute Janpier Alvisto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastián Sosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Perico struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ovidio Roland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikingos FC. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
