An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Salomone in the 8th minute of play forced Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Alysson Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Ogro F.C.'s Jerônimo Vergílio to fire away a dangerous shot which Olavo Henriques despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Olavo Henriques made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Igor Cavalera sent off a good shot on target. Andres Felipo charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andres Felipo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Andres Felipo hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Olavo Henriques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Cavalera. After 26 minutes, Godofredo Remigio made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute Urbano Jago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Thomas Lang notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Racing Club's Olavo Henriques. Olavo Henriques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godofredo Remigio to make the kick off. Marcel Picka kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Racing Club's Olavo Henriques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Cavalera in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Vergílio came free, but Olavo Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Igor Cavalera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo Henriques. Racing Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Cavalera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Racing Club's George Orwel was substituted for Godofredo Remigio. Olavo Henriques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Vergílio in the 75th minute of play. The corner led to Ogro F.C.'s Nicko McBrain getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ogro F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
