When Doriva Saldanha fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo ScrugenFC's protests and gave Doriva Saldanha a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Saldanha to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Deportivo ScrugenFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Rexino came free, but Jose Boldu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Boldu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Rexino in the 21st minute. When Zoil Pequeño came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Deportivo ScrugenFC fans jumped to their feet. A collision led to Deportivo ScrugenFC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Zoil Pequeño hit a great ball. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Jose Boldu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Rexino in the 42nd minute of play. Zoil Pequeño blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julián Valla having to make a save. Junior Busquets kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 57th minute of the match Aerolineas Argentinas FC got a corner. Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sebastián Erasto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sebastián Erasto almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Deportivo ScrugenFC's Jose Boldu did a great save. With a little luck, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Julián Valla got control of the ball when Zoil Pequeño tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Leobardo Padierna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. Jose Boldu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leobardo Padierna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Julián Valla made a huge save. Stacy Doll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jose Boldu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Aerolineas Argentinas FC fully deserved thier win.
