The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Andrzej Zapolski notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Universitario's Matro Perramon. Matro Perramon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute, Andrzej Zapolski made a precise shot to the right of Matro Perramon. Universitario's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Andrzej Zapolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matro Perramon having to make a save. Matro Perramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Zapolski in the 20th minute of play. Betinho de Queirós scored 5-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matro Perramon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andrzej Zapolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matro Perramon having to make a save. With a little luck, Universitario's Matro Perramon got control of the ball when Andrzej Zapolski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andrzej Zapolski took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matro Perramon. Matro Perramon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Universitario's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Andrzej Zapolski scored to the left of an out of position Matro Perramon, making the score, 7-0. Andrzej Zapolski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matro Perramon having to make a save. Matro Perramon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrzej Zapolski in the 39th minute. Andrzej Zapolski might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matro Perramon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andrzej Zapolski ran back to his position shaking his head. Universitario's Matro Perramon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Universitario from getting a goal against them. When Andrzej Zapolski came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the DREAM TEAM WORLD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrzej Zapolski couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andy Somellera was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Andrzej Zapolski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DREAM TEAM WORLD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. The audience was convinced that Andrzej Zapolski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matro Perramon was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 60th minute of the match DREAM TEAM WORLD got a corner. Universitario's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maximiliano Vime ran over to the corner to take the kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Elpidio Curcio advanced and headed the ball into goal, 10-0 in the 61st minute. Andrzej Zapolski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Universitario's Matro Perramon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Zapolski in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Universitario defense, Andrzej Zapolski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matro Perramon. The Universitario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matro Perramon should have stopped the shot. DREAM TEAM WORLD made a substitution. Mendez Urquizu replaced Elpidio Curcio. Mendez Urquizu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Mendez Urquizu came free, but Matro Perramon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Wilfredo Cutberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matro Perramon was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Matro Perramon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Jon in the 80th minute of play. Matro Perramon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Cutberto went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 13-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Universitario defense, Wilfredo Cutberto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matro Perramon. The Universitario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matro Perramon should have stopped the shot. Matro Perramon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulo Jon went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 16-0 was the resulting score. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DREAM TEAM WORLD fully deserved thier win.
