The audience thought a goal was coming when Helge Brun got free with Marioara Matei in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronaldinho Marioara kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertinho Alagoano in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Qian Xing Wei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olof Högström hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Daniel Stoian got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute, -BZF- Petrolul Berca's Dong Xiong seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dong Xiong the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of -BZF- Petrolul Berca protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dong Xiong had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Marioara Matei had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Åke Ekelund's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Qian Xing Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eleven Nation Army's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Basarab Stanciu was slow to take the kick. During this time -BZF- Petrolul Berca's players had a chance to rest. Charalambos Vokolos made a great header on -BZF- Petrolul Berca's corner, it was just that Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei managed to reach the ball for a save. Eleven Nation Army's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albertinho Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After the first half -BZF- Petrolul Berca were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Helge Brun to strike the kick off in the second half. Albertinho Alagoanos short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Qian Xing Wei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In a very dangerous position, a player in Eleven Nation Army fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Eleven Nation Army:s Qian Xing Wei showed great skill when he stopped Basarab Stanciu:s penalty. Qian Xing Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertinho Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 67th minute, Charalambos Vokolos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Qian Xing Wei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albertinho Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 69th minute.
