The Radiohead Freaks Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tino Casal should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes into the game, Rodolphe Sol threw the ball into play from the sideline. Radiohead Freaks Club's Siro Ugaitz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Lyon 69ers's Rodolphe Sol got a free kick in the 12th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lyon 69ers's zone, Tubagus Sumampouw stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre Peeters came out of the goal and Tubagus Sumampouw tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Radiohead Freaks Club's Tino Casal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Lecanu in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Drago Nair in the 22nd minute of play forced Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Pierre Peeters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radiohead Freaks Club's Tino Casal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Lendaa in the 24th minute of play. Mathias Lecanu took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tino Casal. Tino Casal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lyon 69ers's goalkeeper Pierre Peeters, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Drago Nair's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierre Peeters was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Pierre Peeters stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Drago Nair's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Lyon 69ers's Pierre Peeters got control of the ball when Drago Nair tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tubagus Sumampouw fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Peeters having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Drago Nair made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Drago Nair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Peeters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tino Casal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mathias Lecanu's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When Tubagus Sumampouw came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Radiohead Freaks Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tubagus Sumampouw couldn't finish the play. Cayo Mario might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierre Peeters. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cayo Mario ran back to his position shaking his head. Pierre Peeters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayo Mario in the 59th minute of the match. Radiohead Freaks Club's Tino Casal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Lendaa in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute, Aloísio Lendaa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Cayo Mario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Cayo Mario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierre Peeters took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayo Mario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cayo Mario in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre Peeters prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Radiohead Freaks Club fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Radiohead Freaks Club's Cayo Mario looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
