The referee showed Huang Gang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of GrassNuts FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy:s goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 13th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Esbjörn Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vitaliy van der Aas short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Gustaw Nowak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 23rd minute José Pedro Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esbjörn Tunander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zbyszek Le Bonniec's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Lannister came free, but Esbjörn Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak got control of the ball when Philip Åkerman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute Pierre-Emile Højbjerg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esbjörn Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 35th minute of the match. Jerry Cala kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Gustaw Nowak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Philip Åkerman in the 42nd minute. Esbjörn Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zbyszek Le Bonniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47thth minute of the game Zbyszek Le Bonniec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

During the 53rd minute of the match Huang Gang completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Huang Gang a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Esbjörn Tunander acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ciccio Kowalczyk. José Pedro Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Tunander having to interfere. Zbyszek Le Bonniec received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Esbjörn Tunander came out and tried to block the shot, but Zbyszek Le Bonniec slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 62nd minute. Esbjörn Tunander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Wawrzyniec Domamir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's supporters rose to their feet, but Wawrzyniec Domamir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esbjörn Tunander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustaw Nowak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre-Emile Højbjerg went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Vitaliy van der Aa struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Gustaw Nowak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GrassNuts FC. Esbjörn Tunander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esbjörn Tunander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save GrassNuts FC from getting a goal against them. When Philip Åkerman fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GrassNuts FC's protests and gave Philip Åkerman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th minute, Philip Åkerman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Rafal Ludwiczak was substituted for Zbyszek Le Bonniec. After a rather tough play, GrassNuts FC's Philip Åkerman got a free kick in the 90th minute. A hard shot 93 in the game by Ciccio Kowalczyk from a close distance when the talented Esbjörn Tunander managed to make a qualified save. GrassNuts FC's players were relieved. The supporters of GrassNuts FC booed when Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Bienienda didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Pawel Drapinski hit a great ball. Vitaliy van der Aa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Nowak having to interfere. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
