Xorxe Canosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Cordareo having to interfere. Juan Mazuste made in the 6th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Santiago Sidro immediately put the ball in play. 8 minutes into the game, Santiago Sidro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tanek Zurawski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Forros Fantásticos AC's Santiago Sidro in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Machu Picchu's goalie prevented a goal. Alejo Lehior sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 22 minutes into the game, Machu Picchu's Xorxe Canosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Cordareo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Machu Picchu's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Geambașu came free, but Tanek Zurawski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Xorxe Canosa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Xorxe Canosa came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Machu Picchu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xorxe Canosa couldn't finish the play. Robustiano Cordareo made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Tony Thanos sent off a good shot on target. Xorxe Canosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Robustiano Cordareo made a huge save. Alejo Lehior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Machu Picchu's Xorxe Canosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robustiano Cordareo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 42 minutes Forros Fantásticos AC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Forros Fantásticos AC's Robustiano Cordareo did a great save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Sidro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Machu Picchu got a corner. Forros Fantásticos AC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yavuz Selim Hekimhanlı ran over to the corner to take the kick. Machu Picchu's Tony Thanos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robustiano Cordareo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Forros Fantásticos AC's Robustiano Cordareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xorxe Canosa in the 56th minute of play. Robustiano Cordareo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xorxe Canosa's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. If Xorxe Canosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 65 played minutes Alejo Lehior rounded Machu Picchu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. Romeo Nabar made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alejo Lehior immediately put the ball in play. Machu Picchu's Tanek Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Sagen in the 72nd minute of play. When Jim Morrison fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Machu Picchu's protests and gave Jim Morrison a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Forros Fantásticos AC booed when Machu Picchu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Morrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute Xorxe Canosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Cordareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Cordareo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xorxe Canosa went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the match, Xorxe Canosa notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of Forros Fantásticos AC's Robustiano Cordareo. Robustiano Cordareo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Machu Picchu's Tanek Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egoitz Binet in the 96th minute of play.
