GrassNuts FC were furious when Gösta Vennerkvist was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in GrassNuts FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! 36 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Vitaliy van der Aa came free, but Oséas Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored GrassNuts FC's protests and gave Roger Magnusson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Jukatriz booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Magnusson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander got control of the ball when Cássio de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Cerezuela came free, but Esbjörn Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
