Cássio de Alcântara took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dacian Nițescu. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Don Cabezon made a kick off. Bruce Wayne hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Gylippus Panayiotopoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Dacian Nițescu made a huge save. 59 minutes into the game, Ardy Pakubuwono cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Oséas Albuquerque was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Cerezuela got free with Dacian Nițescu in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oséas Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dadá Oliveira in the 69th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
