The coaching staff of GrassNuts FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Huang Gang had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Huang Gang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esbjörn Tunander was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Ciccio Kowalczyk capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciccio Kowalczyk really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Pawel Drapinski kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esbjörn Tunander saved GrassNuts FC from getting behind.
