When Edgar Degas fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS LEW Chorzów's protests and gave Edgar Degas a yellow card for diving instead. Edgar Degas hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Lucrețiu Oroian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Herbert Oliszewski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Leo Campana blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dacian Oravițan having to make a save. FC ciufulici's Dacian Oravițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Campana in the 20th minute of play. Leo Campana took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dacian Oravițan. Dacian Oravițan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Herbert Oliszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Oroian in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of KS LEW Chorzów booed when FC ciufulici was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Vlas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Campana might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dacian Oravițan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Campana ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Campana came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dacian Oravițan could save by the left post. In the 37th minute, Edgar Degas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucrețiu Oroian took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Oliszewski. Herbert Oliszewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgar Degas made a kick off. After 61 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Robert Bugajski. Herbert Oliszewski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dacian Jecu. Lucrețiu Oroian took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herbert Oliszewski. Herbert Oliszewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Edgar Vlas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Herbert Oliszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dacian Oravițan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Campana, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Herbert Oliszewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Vlas. FC ciufulici's Dacian Oravițan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ksawery Gacki in the 73rd minute of play. Dacian Oravițan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ksawery Gacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Francisc Tarcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Oliszewski having to interfere. Leo Campana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Leo Campana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, KS LEW Chorzów's Herbert Oliszewski got control of the ball when George Giurcă tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC ciufulici's Francisc Tarcu suffered a concussion in the 93rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 93 minutes into the game, Ksawery Gacki was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS LEW Chorzów's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC ciufulici the free kick. FC ciufulici made a substitution. Ioan Cozma replaced Francisc Tarcu. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ksawery Gacki hit a great ball. George Giurcă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Herbert Oliszewski made a huge save.
