An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Larsson in the 6th minute of play forced SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Timo Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Decathlon Dudes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Costin Moisil in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Larsson in the 9th minute of play forced SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Timo Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Henrik Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timo Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timo Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Larsson in the 22nd minute of play. If Delmiro Jayvier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Decathlon Dudes's Costin Moisil quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Sotiris Alexandropoulos, made in the 27th minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 79th match minute, Decathlon Dudes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timo Venema to maneuver through the defense. Tadej Pogačar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberigo Sessa in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Alberigo Sessa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Timo Courtois, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 86th match minute, SSV Ulm 1846 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Olof Lilja to maneuver through the defense. Henrik Larsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Timo Courtois made a huge save. Henrik Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timo Courtois having to interfere. A collision led to Decathlon Dudes getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Silvester Rambo hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
