The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

PHOENIX SC's Samai Asmawan was substituted for Ronan McCunn. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samai Asmawan to make the kick off. In the 93rd minute, Samai Asmawan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PHOENIX SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. With a little luck, PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence got control of the ball when Daniele Massaro tried to sneak it across the goal line.
