Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Don Merlot kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Mutumba during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Mutumba hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Alberigo Sessa managed to get in a good position for a shot. SSV Ulm 1846's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberigo Sessa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Ekrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th minute, Derek Henderson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fernan Berart came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Vykans Vikingar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernan Berart couldn't finish the play. If Martin Mutumba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martin Mutumba in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Timo Courtois, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee felt a red card was in order, 25 minutes into the game, when Elliott Bogren put in a rough tackle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Lilja in the 27th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, SSV Ulm 1846's Alberigo Sessa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Ekrot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 34th minute, Alberigo Sessa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Ekrot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 43rd minute, Stephane Bosch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Sessa in the 46th minute of play.

Timo Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Micucci in the 52nd minute of play. Vykans Vikingar were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after SSV Ulm 1846's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fernan Berart took the corner. After 56 played minutes SSV Ulm 1846 got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Silveira. Timo Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emmanuel Dennis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Jose Indalecio made a precise shot to the right of Timo Courtois. SSV Ulm 1846's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Emmanuel Dennis struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Timo Courtois didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vykans Vikingar. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberigo Sessa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind SSV Ulm 1846's goalkeeper Timo Courtois, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Alberigo Sessa came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SSV Ulm 1846's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sven-Olof Lilja in the 82nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Alberigo Sessa heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. SSV Ulm 1846 were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Vykans Vikingar's much stronger midfield.
