Tadej Pogačar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indiana Jones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Larsson in the 27th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club El Progreso getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Indiana Jones hit a great ball. Tadej Pogačar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Kranevitter in the 34th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Indiana Jones was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henrik Larsson got free with Benjamin Tino in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tadej Pogačar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Decathlon Dudes's Marinus Doren got a free kick in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indiana Jones in the 68th minute of play forced Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper Tadej Pogačar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Kranevitter came free, but Tadej Pogačar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Decathlon Dudes getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cezary Bara hit a great ball. Club El Progreso made a substitution. Enzo Bot replaced Indiana Jones. The supporters of Club El Progreso booed when Decathlon Dudes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Bara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 98 minutes, Adolfo Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club El Progreso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Fidensio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
