In the 15th minute, Seggiano's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Henrik Larsson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 18th minute Decathlon Dudes were awarded a corner. Costin Moisil went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Decathlon Dudes's corner Anthon Melin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Andrea Moschetta quite easily take care of the ball. Anthon Melin had several of the Seggiano's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Andrea Moschetta as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godo Møltoft in the 24th minute of play forced Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper Tadej Pogačar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfred Klawki hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Andrea Moschetta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Larsson in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniele Massaro to strike the kick off in the second half. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
