Playa Malvín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karol Panasewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Niculae Buznea kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Panasewicz came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karol Panasewicz to make the kick off.
