Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alex Mansilha took the kick off in the first half of the match. Paul Heyckendorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Jönsätt in the 3rd minute of the match. Paul Heyckendorf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionică Savu in the 8th minute of play. The supporters of AFC Nirosxn 08 booed when Academica Pulheim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Mansilha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lutz Golke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Mugurel Slătineanu made a huge save. Mugurel Slătineanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Mansilha in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC Nirosxn 08's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alex Mansilha was slow to take the kick. During this time Academica Pulheim's players had a chance to rest. Paul Heyckendorf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurențiu Todericiu in the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, AFC Nirosxn 08's Mugurel Slătineanu got control of the ball when Lutz Golke tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alex Mansilha made a great header on Academica Pulheim's corner, it was just that AFC Nirosxn 08's Mugurel Slătineanu managed to reach the ball for a save. Paul Heyckendorf came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by AFC Nirosxn 08's Laurențiu Todericiu. But to his dismay, Laurențiu Todericiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to AFC Nirosxn 08 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Emil Atanasiu hit a great ball. After 44 played minutes, AFC Nirosxn 08's Emil Atanasiu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Paul Heyckendorf came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC Nirosxn 08 reached it. In the 47th minute Alex Mansilha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Slătineanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ionică Savu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ionică Savu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ilie Zâncă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Emil Atanasiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paul Heyckendorf read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Ilie Zâncă kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Emil Atanasiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Nirosxn 08's zone, Lutz Golke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugurel Slătineanu came out of the goal and Lutz Golke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Academica Pulheim's Maxime Vrints was substituted for Lutz Golke. Academica Pulheim's Alex Mansilha got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Heyckendorf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Atanasiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joachim Kretschmer in the 74th minute of play forced AFC Nirosxn 08's goalkeeper Mugurel Slătineanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mugurel Slătineanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Kretschmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 83 minutes into the match, AFC Nirosxn 08's goal looked a bit too open when Maxime Vrints came free, but Mugurel Slătineanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, AFC Nirosxn 08's goal looked a bit too open when Joachim Kretschmer came free, but Mugurel Slătineanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Laurențiu Todericiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC Nirosxn 08's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurențiu Todericiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Maxime Vrints ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mugurel Slătineanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. When Ionică Savu came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the AFC Nirosxn 08 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionică Savu couldn't finish the play. When the match was over AFC Nirosxn 08 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Academica Pulheim throughout the match.
