Niculae Podgoreanu started the match with the kick off. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Podgoreanu in the 4th minute of play. Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Podgoreanu in the 5th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorin Banu got free with Silviu Lung in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 18 minutes, Mihăiţă Ilarie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MIT Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihăiţă Ilarie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. -BZF- Viper eSports's Silviu Lung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 25th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Niculae Podgoreanu made a precise shot to the right of Calistrat Madgearu. MIT Craiova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Dan Chirilă came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the -BZF- Viper eSports fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Chirilă couldn't finish the play. After 46 played minutes MIT Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Vâtcă. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tiberiu Caramarin was the one to do the kick off. MIT Craiova's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mihăiţă Ilarie in the 55th minute. After taking down the ball on MIT Craiova's corner Mihăiţă Ilarie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Silviu Lung quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 57th minute of play forced -BZF- Viper eSports's goalkeeper Silviu Lung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Ivan Vâtcă almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but -BZF- Viper eSports's Silviu Lung did a great save. Silviu Lung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Orășan in the 70th minute of play. In the 75th minute David Tunander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Lung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silviu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicodim Orășan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Xander-Paul De Coster kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Calistrat Madgearu. In the 91st minute, David Tunander made a precise shot to the right of Silviu Lung. -BZF- Viper eSports's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicodim Orășan in the 93rd minute of play forced -BZF- Viper eSports's goalkeeper Silviu Lung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, David Tunander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silviu Lung. -BZF- Viper eSports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Tunander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. MIT Craiova were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of -BZF- Viper eSports for a fine match.
