Heavenly Hooters's Lennie Rusby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Svensson in the 16th minute of play. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty King in the 21st minute of the match. Golden Lions FC's Markus Svensson got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lennie Rusby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Markus Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Markus Svensson struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Lennie Rusby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Lions FC. A collision led to Heavenly Hooters getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Felix Hitchcock hit a great ball. Markus Svensson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lennie Rusby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After some careless play in the Heavenly Hooters defense, Markus Svensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennie Rusby. The Heavenly Hooters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennie Rusby should have stopped the shot. Markus Svensson might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lennie Rusby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Markus Svensson ran back to his position shaking his head. Lennie Rusby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Svensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Svensson came free, but Lennie Rusby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Markus Svensson to strike the kick off in the second half. Lennie Rusby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Markus Svensson's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's Markus Svensson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lennie Rusby narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pär Sundberg kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The throw-in from Jake Grayson in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Golden Lions FC's Bebben Johansson. Lennie Rusby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Svensson in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Markus Svensson notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Heavenly Hooters's Lennie Rusby. Lennie Rusby was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Golden Lions FC made a substitution. Leo Strömbom replaced Georg Termander. Anders Lundqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jools Holland went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute Markus Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennie Rusby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Markus Svensson might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lennie Rusby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Markus Svensson ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Heavenly Hooters's goal looked a bit too open when Markus Svensson came free, but Lennie Rusby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Markus Svensson made a precise shot to the right of Lennie Rusby. Heavenly Hooters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Heavenly Hooters made a substitution. Jon Partridge replaced Felix Hitchcock. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burç Tokhan in the 90th minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Golden Lions FC fully deserved thier win.
