Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tiberiu Caramarin kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belo Alvarez in the 3rd minute of play forced MIT Craiova's goalkeeper Calistrat Madgearu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, MIT Craiova's Romeo Gherghescu got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmar Mayor hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Tiberiu Caramarin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maurino Serena having to make a save. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Belo Alvarez to make the kick off. Belo Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the A.D. Alcorcón defense, Tiberiu Caramarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. The A.D. Alcorcón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurino Serena should have stopped the shot. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Eusebio Quijana replaced Natxo Cacheres. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Laurin Mangas replaced Nereo Acosta. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 64th minute of play. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiberiu Caramarin's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Banu in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorin Banu in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurino Serena saved A.D. Alcorcón from getting behind. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurino Serena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MIT Craiova's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. MIT Craiova's Fabian Geantă was substituted for Mihăiţă Ilarie. A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez was substituted for Belo Alvarez. In the 81st minute of the match MIT Craiova got a corner. A.D. Alcorcón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Geantă ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 82 minutes, Tiberiu Caramarin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MIT Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiberiu Caramarin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 90th minute of play. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 94th minute of play. MIT Craiova's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
