A collision led to Barcelona de América getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Félix Fermosel hit a great ball. In the 14th minute Eraldo Pittelli suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Jim Mannell charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jim Mannell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Félix Fermosel made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Krišjānis Ābeļnieks however managed to control. After a defensive mix-up in Berserkers FC Ψ's zone, Perlaza Lena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Burni came out of the goal and Perlaza Lena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcos Burni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Krišjānis Ābeļnieks in the 25th minute. Krišjānis Ābeļnieks kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Garoa in the 27th minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Tenorio Reiriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krišjānis Ābeļnieks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Burni having to interfere. Tenorio Reiriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Garoa in the 31st minute of play. After 33 played minutes Barcelona de América got a freekick which was hit by Perlaza Lena. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Munhoz in the 39th minute of play forced Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Tenorio Reiriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berserkers FC Ψ's Marcos Burni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Berserkers FC Ψ from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cipriano Munhoz to strike the kick off in the second half. Krišjānis Ābeļnieks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot by Andres Lander from long distance, 79 minutes into the match, got Tenorio Reiriz's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andres Lander got free with Tenorio Reiriz in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barcelona de América's goalkeeper Tenorio Reiriz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Krišjānis Ābeļnieks came free, but Marcos Burni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
