After a rather tough play, SV Bad Harzburg's Roberto Carlos got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michaël Guillot in the 11th minute of play. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco van Basten in the 14th minute of play. Silvestre Loi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Niculae Romanescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jurek Ohrem was slow to take the kick. During this time SV Bad Harzburg's players had a chance to rest. SV Bad Harzburg's Horst Hussen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Niculae Romanescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Horst Hussen made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 21stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Niculae Romanescu would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Jacek Matuch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michaël Guillot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niculae Romanescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Éthan Pichard in the 27th minute. Michaël Guillot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Matuch having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's goal looked a bit too open when Jurek Ohrem came free, but Niculae Romanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th match minute, SV Bad Harzburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Éthan Pichard to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isak Lundqvist made a kick off. Jacek Matuch made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Michaël Guillot sent off a good shot on target. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Niculae Romanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurek Ohrem in the 53rd minute of play. Niculae Romanescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurek Ohrem in the 59th minute of play. Niculae Romanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Éthan Pichard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Loi in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niculae Romanescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niculae Romanescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horst Hussen in the 68th minute of the match. Niculae Romanescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvestre Loi went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Lukasz Haszczak was substituted for Tymoteusz Wierzcholek. CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Lucas Mancheño was substituted for Velimir Bostandzhiev. Jacek Matuch was a little too slow when Isak Lundqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 90th minute Éthan Pichard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Romanescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvestre Loi in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niculae Romanescu saved CWKS KĘDZIERZYN from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SV Bad Harzburg had won after a very even match.
