Friday Sobota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacek Matuch having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Jupiter Siemiatycze's goalkeeper Dobromir Klawki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Loi. SV Bad Harzburg's Jacek Matuch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friday Sobota in the 39th minute of play. Friday Sobota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Éthan Pichard got free with Dobromir Klawki in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Azim Onatsu hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Friday Sobota to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Horst Hussen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Bad Harzburg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horst Hussen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Horst Hussen came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the SV Bad Harzburg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horst Hussen couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Silvestre Loi sped through Jupiter Siemiatycze's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dobromir Klawki. In the 93rd minute, Jarrod Bowen made a precise shot to the right of Jacek Matuch. SV Bad Harzburg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.
