Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7thth minute EL Ciulos Lamos's Ramon Alaejos made a couple of brazen moves and fired away a shot to the left hand side of Brugge United's goalie, Vítor Baia, understanding what was about to happen, managed to get hold of the ball just before it went behind the net. A nice save by Vítor Baia. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind EL Ciulos Lamos's goalkeeper Dandung Garmana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 20 played minutes EL Ciulos Lamos got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Alaejos. In the 21st minute of the match Jaspar Van Den Broeck shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dandung Garmana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Guido Vissenaeken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dandung Garmana. EL Ciulos Lamos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Vissenaeken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Brugge United's Ümit Karan got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brugge United's Jaspar Van Den Broeck quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Christopher Low, made in the 40th minute of the game. Christopher Low hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Dandung Garmana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 44th minute of play. Brugge United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Dobromir Piechocki scored to the left of an out of position Vítor Baia, making the score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dobromir Piechocki was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Brugge United's Dacian Hrean got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute of the match Piotr Skrzypiec sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Baia skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dobromir Piechocki in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Baia saved Brugge United from getting behind. With a little luck, EL Ciulos Lamos's Dandung Garmana got control of the ball when Guido Vissenaeken tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts was substituted for Jaspar Van Den Broeck. 61 minutes in the game Christopher Low did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kosta Dangúrov. In the 62nd match minute, EL Ciulos Lamos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Low to maneuver through the defense. If Dobromir Piechocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobromir Piechocki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor Baia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobromir Piechocki in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Michalski came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Brugge United booed when EL Ciulos Lamos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xanti Vacas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Pietrowicz hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes EL Ciulos Lamos got a freekick which was hit by Mieszko Fujara. 82 minutes into the match, Waud Huijbrechts had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dandung Garmana. EL Ciulos Lamos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waud Huijbrechts was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After some careless play in the Brugge United defense, Dobromir Piechocki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vítor Baia. The Brugge United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vítor Baia should have stopped the shot. Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Christopher Low in the 90 minute of the game. With a little luck, EL Ciulos Lamos's Dandung Garmana got control of the ball when Guido Vissenaeken tried to sneak it across the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brugge United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for EL Ciulos Lamos.
