The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ádám Szuper narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vítor Baia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Malvin in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, eDp! Gaming FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Vissenaeken came free, but Ádám Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mason Mount had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Brugge United's Ádám Szuper threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guido Vissenaeken, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 36 minutes into the match, eDp! Gaming FC's goalkeeper Ádám Szuper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Vissenaeken. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by eDp! Gaming FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaspar Van Den Broeck was slow to take the kick. During this time Brugge United's players had a chance to rest. Guido Vissenaeken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ádám Szuper having to interfere. In the 44th minute Guido Vissenaeken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ádám Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Brugge United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Laurențiu Roşculeţ hit a great ball.

Mason Mount could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Vítor Baia made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Cirilo Malvin managed to get in a good position for a shot. eDp! Gaming FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cirilo Malvin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vítor Baia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Brugge United's Vítor Baia got control of the ball when Elce Ko tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vítor Baia made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Elce Ko sent off a good shot on target. In the 60th minute of the game Amadeo Felo made a throw-in which Cirilo Malvin played forward. In the 61stth minute of the game Guido Vissenaeken who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but eDp! Gaming FC's Ádám Szuper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 64th minute Guido Vissenaeken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ádám Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mason Mount could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Vítor Baia made a huge save. Brugge United's Vítor Baia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Brugge United from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Brugge United booed when eDp! Gaming FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Ticho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waud Huijbrechts recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Guido Vissenaeken had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 74 minutes into the match, eDp! Gaming FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Vissenaeken came free, but Ádám Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ümit Karan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. eDp! Gaming FC's Emilio Rolado was substituted for Cirilo Malvin. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Rolado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Brugge United getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Waud Huijbrechts hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Emilio Rolado notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Brugge United's Vítor Baia. Vítor Baia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 90 played minutes eDp! Gaming FC got a freekick which was hit by Tage Magnusson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 91st minute of play forced eDp! Gaming FC's goalkeeper Ádám Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Ümit Karan suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeo Felo during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brugge United made a substitution. Goffrey Sas replaced Ümit Karan. After a rather tough play, eDp! Gaming FC's Amadeo Felo got a free kick in the 94th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
