Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hertha 1969's Lothar Heber got a free kick in the 39th minute.
