The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ignacio Rossello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to interfere. Cecilio Tristan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barbaros Bozbora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM made a substitution. Genaro Elivareo was slow to take the kick. During this time Abuba Akotonon FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Genaro Elivareo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM's Barbaros Bozbora did a great save. Cezar Teaşcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM's goalkeeper Barbaros Bozbora, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cezar Teaşcă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM's goalkeeper Barbaros Bozbora, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the match Abuba Akotonon FC got a corner. YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genaro Elivareo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 32nd minute, Abuba Akotonon FC's Vânderson Barbosa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Barbaros Bozbora. Barbaros Bozbora yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Cezar Teaşcă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Orlando Gatti was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yu Xun Yi in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Orlando Gatti saved Abuba Akotonon FC from getting behind. In the 47th minute of the match YR☆ACADEMIA CRISTY-TEAM got a corner. Abuba Akotonon FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Erez Cachurro ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Abuba Akotonon FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lance Veloz hit a great ball. Hugo Orlando Gatti came out of the goal and Cezar Teaşcă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cezar Teaşcă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Yu Xun Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezar Teaşcă.
