In the 6th minute, Alemannia Aachen's Valter Xabat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Radamel Hendrickx. Radamel Hendrickx yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Fauna Utd made a substitution. Yuri Portugal replaced Lorenzo Garaona. Jess Carnduff didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Unai Sócrates went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Dante Huts in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alemannia Aachen's Aulis Salomaa. 14 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Müller. Valter Xabat struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Radamel Hendrickx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alemannia Aachen. Jess Carnduff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unai Sócrates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Unai Sócrates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Fauna Utd's Unai Sócrates sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jess Carnduff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Octav Zdraşcu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alemannia Aachen's Aulis Salomaa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Valter Xabat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Radamel Hendrickx came out and tried to block the shot, but Valter Xabat slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 30th minute. With an all-out effort, Alemannia Aachen's Radamel Hendrickx threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valter Xabat, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Fauna Utd's Octav Zdraşcu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aulis Salomaa in the 42 minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Xabat in the 54th minute of play forced Fauna Utd's goalkeeper Radamel Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes in the game Louis Leißner did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lech Wawrukiewicz. Fauna Utd's Octav Zdraşcu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aulis Salomaa in the 63 minute of the game. Unai Sócrates blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jess Carnduff having to make a save. If Unai Sócrates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pieterjan Anteunis kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Alemannia Aachen booed when Fauna Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pieterjan Anteunis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute Unai Sócrates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jess Carnduff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Unai Sócrates, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Radamel Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Xabat in the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pieterjan Anteunis charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pieterjan Anteunis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pieterjan Anteunis kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Alemannia Aachen booed when Fauna Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position.
