In the 8th minute Iago Bala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute America Futebol Clube SP were awarded a corner. Dreas Jamieson went to the cornerflag to take it. Jess Carnduff showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iago Bala, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Jess Carnduff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iago Bala in the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Iago Bala managed to get in a good position for a shot. America Futebol Clube SP's supporters rose to their feet, but Iago Bala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jess Carnduff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valter Xabat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Stefan Rasiak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alemannia Aachen's attentive Aulis Salomaa managed to snatch the ball when Oton Mendez made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. America Futebol Clube SP's Stefan Rasiak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save America Futebol Clube SP from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goal looked a bit too open when Fabiano Monteiro came free, but Jess Carnduff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Iago Bala made a precise shot to the right of Jess Carnduff. Alemannia Aachen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Thomas Müller's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Stefan Rasiak firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alemannia Aachen's Aulis Salomaa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Oton Mendez in the 45 minute of the game. A collision led to Alemannia Aachen getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. La Rat hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valter Xabat made a kick off. America Futebol Clube SP's Arthur Laguna was substituted for Dreas Jamieson. 60 minutes into the game, Oton Mendez threw the ball into play from the sideline. Alemannia Aachen's Manfred Kottsieper quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 61st minute Manfred Kottsieper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rasiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Rasiak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thomas Müller's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the game, Thomas Müller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Stefan Rasiak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeronimo Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jeronimo Rico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Jess Carnduff made a huge save. Jeronimo Rico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jess Carnduff came out and tried to block the shot, but Jeronimo Rico slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 72nd minute. Oton Mendez made in the 74th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arthur Laguna. Stefan Rasiak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manfred Kottsieper in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, America Futebol Clube SP's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Müller came free, but Stefan Rasiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stefan Rasiak came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Alemannia Aachen's Thomas Müller. But to his dismay, Thomas Müller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Kottsieper in the 81st minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Stefan Rasiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. America Futebol Clube SP's attentive Oton Mendez managed to snatch the ball when Aulis Salomaa made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. After 90 minutes Alemannia Aachen's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tadeu Xavier who took care of the corner kick. Oton Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Jeronimo Rico took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Jess Carnduff to make any attempt to save it. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched America Futebol Clube SP eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
