An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Stefano in the 3rd minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Prestes scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelio Di Lullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Prestes in the 7th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Alfredo Stefano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Castanheiro SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 11 minutes into the game, Emiliano Cara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valdieri's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castanheiro SC the free kick. Emiliano Cara kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Alfredo Stefano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castanheiro SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Stefano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Alfredo Stefano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aurelio Di Lullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cristiano Pantani hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Aurelio Di Lullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Stefano in the 20th minute of the match. When Edoardo Cabrini fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valdieri's protests and gave Edoardo Cabrini a yellow card for diving instead. Edoardo Cabrini hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, Robben Spoelberchs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robben Spoelberchs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Elia Cicchini hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Alfredo Stefano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Prestes came free, but Aurelio Di Lullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elia Mascitti hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Alfredo Stefano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Di Lullo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 35 minutes into the match, Luís Prestes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Prestes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After 39 minutes of play, Castanheiro SC's Robben Spoelberchs made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Di Lullo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, Robben Spoelberchs made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. After the first half Castanheiro SC were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franco Sarnelli to strike the kick off in the second half. Aurelio Di Lullo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robben Spoelberchs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 53 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Prestes in the 56th minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurelio Di Lullo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Stefano, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Luís Prestes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aurelio Di Lullo. The goal made the score 0-10. Valdieri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Robben Spoelberchs scored to the left of an out of position Aurelio Di Lullo, making the score, 0-11. 69 minutes into the game, Alfredo Stefano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Aurelio Di Lullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aurelio Di Lullo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Stefano in the 71st minute. Robben Spoelberchs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Aurelio Di Lullo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78thth minute of the game Luís Prestes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Luís Prestes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-14. Aurelio Di Lullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th minute, Robben Spoelberchs made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Robben Spoelberchs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Di Lullo should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robben Spoelberchs got free with Aurelio Di Lullo in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurelio Di Lullo came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Castanheiro SC's Robben Spoelberchs. But to his dismay, Robben Spoelberchs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-17. 97 minutes into the game, Alfredo Stefano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-18. Aurelio Di Lullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded Castanheiro SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Valdieri.
