In the 3rd match minute, Alemannia Aachen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by La Rat to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th match minute, Fauna Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pieterjan Anteunis to maneuver through the defense. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Unai Sócrates in the 10th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Valter Xabat made a precise shot to the right of Radamel Hendrickx. Fauna Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 19th minute of the match, Unai Sócrates tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jess Carnduff saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 21st minute Valter Xabat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radamel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pieterjan Anteunis came free in the 24th minute and tried to tip the ball over Jess Carnduff, but to the joy of Alemannia Aachen's supporters the ball went over. In the 27th minute, Valter Xabat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alemannia Aachen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Radamel Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Xabat in the 33rd minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that 董文鹰 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jess Carnduff quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Unai Sócrates was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Radamel Hendrickx came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Alemannia Aachen's Valter Xabat. But to his dismay, Valter Xabat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half Alemannia Aachen were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valter Xabat was the one to do the kick off. Radamel Hendrickx came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Alemannia Aachen's Valter Xabat. But to his dismay, Valter Xabat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Alemannia Aachen's Aulis Salomaa quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Octav Zdraşcu, made in the 61st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Müller got free with Radamel Hendrickx in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karel Cromefeldt kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 75th minute of play. Aulis Salomaa made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fauna Utd's Octav Zdraşcu. If Unai Sócrates had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Octav Zdraşcu in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Alemannia Aachen's Aulis Salomaa. In the 87th match minute, Alemannia Aachen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt Rosenbaum to maneuver through the defense. Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Portugal in the 88th minute of play. Unai Sócrates kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Fauna Utd's Octav Zdraşcu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bengt Rosenbaum, made in the 94th minute of the game. In the 95th minute, La Rat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alemannia Aachen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
