Juventus PTM's Victorio Breogan got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Gazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iago Bala, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Victorio Breogan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Stefan Rasiak made a huge save. A well-hit corner resulted in Alex Acatincăi heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Fabiano Monteiro struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Armando Gazza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for America Futebol Clube SP. Victorio Breogan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Stefan Rasiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patrick Viera made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by America Futebol Clube SP's Tadeu Xavier. Armando Gazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iago Bala in the 31st minute of play. America Futebol Clube SP were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Juventus PTM's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dreas Jamieson took the corner. Stefan Rasiak was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Alex Acatincăi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Acatincăi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Patrick Viera made in the 41st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Victorio Breogan immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, Juventus PTM's Patrick Viera got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The supporters of Juventus PTM booed when America Futebol Clube SP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

America Futebol Clube SP's Ahmet Kadri Ucatekin was substituted for Maksymilian Sobczak. Armando Gazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iago Bala in the 57th minute of play. In the 59th minute Victorio Breogan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Rasiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Gazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iago Bala in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Victorio Breogan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Rico in the 97th minute of play forced Juventus PTM's goalkeeper Armando Gazza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
