Alemannia Aachen's attentive Louis Leißner managed to snatch the ball when Ralph Meul made a throw-in in the 10th minute of the game. FISHBONE 06's Gavino Ubarna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valter Xabat in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gavino Ubarna saved FISHBONE 06 from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Valter Xabat put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gavino Ubarna. 30 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joélson Laguna. Gavino Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valter Xabat in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, Alemannia Aachen's Jess Carnduff got control of the ball when Joélson Laguna tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, FISHBONE 06's Ralph Meul got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the FISHBONE 06 defense, Valter Xabat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Ubarna. The FISHBONE 06 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Ubarna should have stopped the shot. Vezir Velidović kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Gavino Ubarna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valter Xabat in the 44th minute of the match. The FISHBONE 06 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alemannia Aachen were winning 0-2.
