Radamel Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Costa in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx got control of the ball when Iago Bala tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, America Futebol Clube SP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Xavier to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match, Zézinho Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Radamel Hendrickx saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fauna Utd's Radamel Hendrickx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Costa in the 45th minute of play. Stefan Rasiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unai Sócrates, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

America Futebol Clube SP made a substitution. Jeronimo Rico replaced Zézinho Costa. Radamel Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeronimo Rico in the 54th minute of the match. Jeronimo Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Radamel Hendrickx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Unai Sócrates kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stefan Rasiak. That made the score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. Unai Sócrates's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stefan Rasiak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Iago Bala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radamel Hendrickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maksymilian Sobczak made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Luiz Eduardo Paraibano however managed to control. In the 74th minute, Jeronimo Rico made a precise shot to the right of Radamel Hendrickx. Fauna Utd's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Maksymilian Sobczak made in the 81st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Tadeu Xavier. Luiz Eduardo Paraibano hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When America Futebol Clube SP's Jeronimo Rico in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
