In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 9 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Beagan Colwell came free, but Ariel Leguizamón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torrey Molloy in the 15th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Willetts during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Jonathan Willetts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torrey Molloy in the 19th minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Ariel Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute 1948 MKS were awarded a corner. Arnold McDecland went to the cornerflag to take it. If Rigan Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rigan Frankson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Ariel Leguizamón made a huge save. Ariel Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Torrey Molloy in the 27th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigan Frankson in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Leguizamón saved Clapham Comets F.C. from getting behind. Ersin Uyguralp hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Madureira in the 45th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

58 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rigan Frankson came free, but Ariel Leguizamón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigan Frankson in the 82nd minute of play forced Clapham Comets F.C.'s goalkeeper Ariel Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ter Stegen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Balendin in the 87th minute. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Willetts in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes, Beagan Colwell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1948 MKS and the Clapham Comets F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Clapham Comets F.C. booed when 1948 MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beagan Colwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Fábio Salgueiro got a free kick in the 91st minute. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysses Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1948 MKS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Clapham Comets F.C. had controlled the match.
